CACTUS, OMG YAAAAAAAAAAAAASS.

If Citroen brought those things to the states with manual transmission, I’d totally get one. I do know that Peugeot let a fair amount of cars get into the United States at one point though. I’ve seen a 407 or something in the past cruising around Va.

Peugeots were sold in the US until 1991.

You sure? I’m pretty sure they still fall under the import restrictions.

Got it. Well, as we know from Top Gear, modern Pugs are crap so it’s not that big a deal that we don’t get them...(*sigh*)

It’s just the brits that notoriously dislike Peugeot’s, because, there, they are driven by people who don’t know how to drive. In the mean time they love their rebadged Opel, Ford and Honda. Which is weird.

Huh. I wonder if it’s being tested here for some reason.

I’m not sure. But id bet Nissan could have been the only one to pull the papers to get it in the country.

It does make you curious though.

I’m actually friends with that Autoblog writer and he spotted it yesterday at my local watering hole in Midtown.

So close, yet I wasn't there …. upsetting.

Well the first time I saw it I pulled a double take, but it was too late for me to really figure out what it was. Then I saw it yesterday with the Citroen badges and had a minor freak out with some people that didnt understand my excitement.

Sometimes you can’t hide, non car friends will have to deal with it.
